WHY ORDO

Discipline is a habit.
Ordo makes it visible.

Analytics

Know exactly where your edge lives

Six figures at the top — net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, total trades, max drawdown. Below them, the same period broken down by strategy, by the emotion you logged going in, by setup, by day and by hour. Every number is computed from trades you entered; nothing is typed in twice, and nothing is estimated.

Journal & Playbook

A paper journal, without the paper

A cream month where every day carries its P&L and the mood you logged. Daily entries with room to be honest about what happened. And a spiral-bound playbook where each strategy gets a page and a rules checklist — the same checklist your discipline score is measured against later.

Both screens are the iPhone app, which is still in development and not on sale. The same journal and playbook are in the desktop build.

Ordo's playbook on iPhone: a spiral-bound notebook open on one strategy, with its rules listed as a checklist
PLAYBOOKone page per strategy, with the rules your discipline score is measured against.

“stick to the plan.”

Risk & Prop-firm

Rules that keep you funded

Set a max daily loss, a max risk per trade and a stop-loss requirement, then track an evaluation against the firm's own limits — daily loss, trailing drawdown, profit target. Every closed trade is checked against the rule set, and the buffer you have left today counts down on the home screen. Ordo enforces the rules you enter; it does not know your firm's rulebook for you.

Ordo's risk rules in Settings: max daily loss set to $500, max risk per trade set to $250, and 'require a stop loss on every trade' ticked, with a note that trades breaking these rules are flagged in Trade History
SETTINGS · RISK RULESthe three limits as entered — and the line saying what happens to a trade that breaks them.

Local-first

Where your journal actually lives

Local-first is not a stance, it's a file path. Three things it means in practice.

Files on your disk

Your journal is written to plain local files on your own computer, with atomic writes and a .bak to fall back on. No server holds the original, and no server needs to be reachable for you to open last Tuesday.

Nothing inside the app is watching

There is no analytics or telemetry in either app. This website is a different thing: it uses cookie-free Vercel analytics, which is spelled out in the privacy policy rather than hidden behind a claim.

One click out

Settings → Data & Backup exports the whole journal and restores it just as fast. Leaving should be a feature, not a support ticket.

Ordo's Data & Backup settings: a line explaining that the data lives in a local file on this computer, an Export Data row covering all accounts, trades, journal entries and attachments, and an Import Backup row that replaces it all from a previous export
SETTINGS · DATA & BACKUPthe export that makes leaving possible: the whole journal out in one click.

Live market data

The market, inside your journal

Real-time candles from one minute to weekly, with a full drawing toolbox and price alerts. A watchlist that offers back the symbols already in your journal. And a scanner that prints your own trade count and average R beside every row — so “looks good” has to meet “has actually paid you.”

Ordo's live charts: a five-minute candlestick chart of Nasdaq futures with the drawing toolbar down the left and an indicator panel beneath it, and a watchlist panel on the right showing live prices
LIVE CHARTSreal candles with the drawing toolbox and the watchlist panel, in the same window as the journal.

Desktop screens are from the current build. The iPhone screens are from the app in development, which is not on sale. The figures in all of them are a demo journal, not a real account.
