Terms of Service
Last updated: August 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Ordo desktop and mobile applications and the ordojournal.com website (together, “Ordo”). Ordo is developed and sold by an individual software developer based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or purchasing Ordo you agree to these terms.
1. What Ordo is
Ordo is a local-first trading journal: software for logging trades you have already made and analyzing your own performance. Ordo is not a broker, does not place or execute trades, does not provide investment advice, and none of its statistics or insights constitute financial advice. Trading involves risk; decisions you make remain entirely your own.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Ordo on devices you own. Every plan begins with a 7-day free trial; after that a paid subscription — Local, Cloud or Pro — unlocks the features described on our pricing page for as long as it is active. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or redistribute Ordo.
3. Purchases and billing
Paid plans are sold through our merchant of record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, or its US or Canadian affiliate depending on where you are), which handles checkout, payment processing, taxes and receipts. Your order is a contract with Paddle, and Paddle’s own buyer terms apply to it alongside these terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time — see our refund & cancellation policy.
4. Your data
Your journal data is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. You are responsible for keeping backups (Ordo includes an export/backup feature). See the privacy policy for details on the limited data we process.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Ordo for unlawful purposes, attempt to disrupt our services, or share your account so that people who have not paid can use a paid plan.
6. Warranty and liability
Ordo is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for trading losses, data loss on your device, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Ordo in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
